Q Design and execute a realistic Portrait Look-a-like with 3D nose makeup for a large stage venue on your entire face. (You must be clean shaven for every lab) Choose ONE of the images below and recreate that painting as closely as possible on your face. If you wish to use a different image, it much be approved before you begin. Required techniques to include: • Good use of layering (to create value range for large venue stage) • Broad value range • Nose & Scar Wax with spirit gum & cotton to change the shape of your nose to match the painting. • Color matching to match the painting. NOTE: this is not to be done as black/yellowface. That is NEVER acceptable. • All of your features must look "finished" (including eyebrows, "theatrical eyes", lips etc.) • You may also need to use stippling & brow blocking (if it's appropriate). If you are not comfortable using one of the paintings in the collection below, you are free to research and find another painting but you must email it to me for approval ahead of time. The alternative image MUST include the following elements: 1. It must be a portrait painting, not a photograph. 2. It must be realistic, not stylized. 3. It must be in color, not black & white. 4. It must have some level of aging. . . Your submission must include ALL of the following elements to be considered for grading: • The portrait you chose to duplicate • 2-3 photos of your full-face finished makeup application (at least one front and one profile) All of these components must be combined into one PDF with multiple pages that are ALL in portrait layout (no sideways images). Each face chart & photo of your finished makeup application must be on it's own page; reference images must be no more that 4 to a page (no collages) .
